About us

Welcome to La Voz Latinx

VozLatinx is more than a platform — it’s a movement to amplify the voices, stories, and leadership of Latinos across Tennessee. Founded by Mari Acuna — a Venezuelan immigrant, Latina entrepreneur, and real estate investor — VozLatinx was born out of a desire to create visibility where there was silence and connection where there were gaps. As Tennessee’s Latino population grows, so does the need for authentic representation, resources, and networks that serve our community. VozLatinx exists to elevate Latino voices through:

🔹 Advocacy & Policy Engagement We partner with civic leaders, school boards, and local governments to ensure Latino families and business owners have a seat at the table. Our goal is to help shape policy and amplify Latino impact in both rural and urban areas across Tennessee.

🔹 Storytelling & Media We spotlight Latino entrepreneurs, creatives, and community leaders through bilingual content that educates, inspires, and builds visibility. Our media arm helps counter stereotypes and puts real stories of Latino excellence front and center.

🔹 Community Outreach & Networking From business workshops to cultural events and professional mixers, VozLatinx creates spaces that foster opportunity, empowerment, and connection. Whether you’re a new resident or a multi-generational leader, we welcome you. Proudly rooted in West Tennessee, we actively collaborate with statewide leaders, the Nashville Latino Chamber, and advocacy groups such as MLCCTN to create a united front for Latino advancement.

Whether you’re looking for Latino-focused resources in Tennessee, a place to connect with Latina leaders, or a platform that believes in building legacy through representation, VozLatinx is here for you.

🗣️ This is the time. These are our stories. We are VozLatinx.

FOUNDER

MARI ACUNA

VozLatinx is my vision for what leadership looks like when it’s rooted in community, driven by purpose, and powered by Latina entrepreneurship.

I’m Mari Acuna — a Venezuelan-born, Tennessee-based Latina CEO, real estate investor, and community advocate.

As the founder of VozLatinx, I created this platform to spotlight, support, and scale Latino talent, influence, and leadership across Tennessee and the Southern U.S.

As a Latina business owner and immigrant, I know firsthand how much potential exists within our communities — and how often that potential is overlooked.

VozLatinx is here to change that.

Through visibility, connection, and strategy, we help Latinos grow their impact in politics, entrepreneurship, real estate, education, and media. We host networking events, build coalitions with elected officials, and produce bilingual content that reflects the full spectrum of Latino leadership. Whether you’re a Latina entrepreneur, bilingual professional, artist, advocate, or first-generation business owner — VozLatinx invites you to take up space and lead boldly. This is not a nonprofit. It’s not a trend. It’s a strategic movement to position Latinos as economic drivers, thought leaders, and culture-makers across the South. We are not the “next wave.”

We are already here. VozLatinx exists to make that undeniable.
